Faculty of Agronomy and Zootechnics: 70 years of institutional life

On the occasion of celebrating the 70 years of institutional life of the Faculty of Agronomy and Zootechnics, which began on December 15, 1947, this paper reviews the most important events that have occurred since then up to the present. It includes an introduction on the beginnings of agricultural education in the country and in the province of Tucumán, the background of the Faculty of Agronomy and its chronological evolution to become the current Faculty of Agronomy and Zootechnics that teaches three degrees:Agronomic Engineering, Zootechnic Engineering, and Veterinary Medicine; and its pre-and post-degree offers.We also refer to their publications, institutional present and challenges for the future.
